In this wonderful, beautiful world, there are so many things that excite us and inspire us. But there are also things that we overlook, and things we consider mundane.
Marketers, however, don’t know the meaning of the word “boring”. So here’s Cool Gai’s case studies on how boring becomes interesting!
Let’s get to it!
Screws and fasteners… They’re easy to ignore. But they hold together the important machines and structures known to mankind. These small objects have a lot of power in them. This power was showcased in the best of ways in Ejot Octaqon’s “The Power of Small”
It was followed up with “Meet The Heroes” to show the unseen heroes who hold our infrastructure in place.
See? Screws and fasteners are indeed awesome!
Milk, butter, and other dairy products are staple foods across India. No wonder the largest milk company in the country proudly displays the tagline “The Taste of India”. But come to think of it, aren’t dairy products also mundane? There isn’t much excitement in it, is there?
But Amul made use of more tha just the tagline, they really got into everything for brand awareness with their super cute and memorable mascot, “Amul Girl”.
No matter the occasion, Indian or international, you know you will see Amul’s ads in their trademark style.
No matter where you are in India, there’s simply no way to miss the Amul Girl and of course the famous jingle that goes with her: “It’s utterly butterfly delicious… Amul!”
Don’t lie, you sang it in your head, didn’t you? ;)
So as you can see good marketing makes everything exciting, all you need is good ideas and the right timing.
Can you tell us some examples of mundane products which were made exciting with good marketing? Let us know in the comments below.
